The General Director of the Food Bank of El Salvador, a unique organization in the country that bridges the gap between the reality of hunger, limited access to safe and healthy food among vulnerable populations, and the rescue of food across the supply chain.

Dra. Liliana Choto Berrios

A pneumologist specializing in Tobacco Cessation Clinics and a warrior on the fight against tobacco. In 1993 she founded the first Tobacco Cessation Clinic in El Salvador and Central America. A few years later, with her rehabilitated patients, they created the NGO “EXFUSAL”.

Steam Girls

Steam Girls is an innovative project where girls, previously trained in robotics during their basic education between 5th and 8th grade, become instructors. These young leaders teach robotics workshops to boys and girls at Child Development Centers (CDI), under the support of the non-governmental organization Compassion.

A leader of Toileton Wash project at the Maquilishuat Rotary Club since 2017. Her project has successfully improved hygiene and sanitation in rural schools through the construction of suitable bathrooms and latrines, benefiting many children and teachers.

The treasurer of the ACOVIVAMSE R.L. housing cooperative, a complex of 40 homes composed of 34 women and 6 men, mostly single mothers.
