Dorothy Wambua
Dorothy is a youth representative at Ahadi Achievers. She stands out as a pivotal figure fighting hunger in Makueni County and beyond in promoting climate smart technologies and new farming methods that increase productivity and reduce post-harvest losses.

Joy Wairimu
Joy is a communication specialist working with RHCO. Joy has championed empowerment of community members with knowledge on sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR), public participation and budget processes to act upon their reproductive health rights.

Goal 4
Joy Kamau
Joy has been championing operations of Library in schools in Nakuru County. Through this initiative she has donated books in four public schools. Joy is also a Reading Ambassador with the Story Moja Read Aloud team. She encourages children to read, and read loud to enable them master pronunciation and build confidence through corrections.

Christine Muteti
Christine has dedicated herself to championing women's empowerment in Makueni County. Employing a group-based approach, Christine oversees the management of over 240 self-help groups comprising more than 5560 women. Leveraging her entrepreneurial skills, she endeavours to create income-generating opportunities for these organized groups.

Phyllis Mutuku
Phyllis is a dedicated community health worker, equipped with training from AMREF Kenya. Her efforts span various crucial responsibilities, including: Promoting Proper Sanitation. Through community training sessions, Phylis educates residents on various methods to ensure access to clean drinking water.

AFFORDABLE AND CLEAN ENERGY

Florence Ndeti
Florence Ndeti is the Director of Caritus Organisation in Kitui County. Since 2015 she has been able to distribute 26,000 energy saving jikos helping the community move away from inefficient three stone cooker. The energy saving jikos conserve fifty percent of energy while reducing the amount of smoke produced hence reducing household pollution.

Hon. Pacifica Ongechi
Hon. Ongechi is Member of County Assembly (MCA) Kiambu County. She was nominated to the county assembly of Kiambu in 2022 courtesy of her community work. She Advocates for funds and linking women to the already available funds to ensure they have capital for there businesses to thrive and stabilize their economic status.

Rose Sikulu
Rose Sikulu is Industrial Chemistry Graduate from Kenyatta University and the founder of Fiber Text Green Paper located in Bungoma County.Through her innovative invention Rose produces biodegradable packaging from banana waste.In a day she is able to produce 100 packaging materials which is sold to shops and manufacturers hence saving planet earth from plastic pollution.

Regina Maithya
Regina is actively involved in advocating for sustainable gender violence redress mechanisms in the villages through advocacy and collaboration with national government. In collaboration with the County Goverment of Makueni Regina is Advocating for Equal representation of women in county community jobs.

Jane Anyango
Jane is the Founder/ Director of Polycom Development Project based in Kibera Slums, Nairobi County. ane has helped instal talking boxes in 67 schools, the boxes encourage kids to share the challenges they are facing in they day to day lives.

Sylvia Kuria
Sylvia Kuria runs an organic farm in Limuru, Kenya and trains farmers how to grow food organically since 2016 she has been able to train 400 farmers on organic and sustainable agriculture through her demo farm located in Ndeiya Limuru. She is also the founder of Sylvia’s Basket, an organic farm shop which aggregate farmers' produce.

Beatrice Kioko
Beatrice is a Village Administrator in Mbooni Village Makueni County. Through her efforts and Partnering with environmental conservation advocates, Beatrice has spearheaded extensive tree planting efforts in her village, resulting in the establishment of over 17,000 trees.

Tayba Hatimy
Dr Tayba Hatimy is a dentist by profession transformed to award-winning social entrepreneur based in Mombasa Coastal City. She formed Baus Taka Enterprises (BTE) which offers a smart digital system that guarantees high-quality and sustainable waste management solutions for residential, commercial and corporate clients in Mombasa County.

Miriam Mutuku
Miriam is a prominent youth leader and mobiliser who is spearheading a group of young individuals dedicated to advocating for land restoration and fostering economic empowerment. Their mission revolves around engaging in activities that not only benefit the environment but also provide income-generating opportunities for the youth.

Monicah Aluku
Monica is a Widow from Tiaty sub-county, located in Baringo County within Kenya’s North Rift region, she lost her husband during conflict which has plagued the area since 1970. Monica has spearheaded formation of widows group consisting of 115 widows who are championing peaceful coexistence among different communities in the area.

Wairimu is a Farmer, Community Couch and a leader in Nakuru County. Since 2017 she has opened her farm as a model farm where she offers training on innovative farming technologies. She partners with Egerton University to offer internship opportunities in her farm for students to learn more about farming.
