Maria de Lurdes Pintassilgo
Maria de Lourdes Pintasilgo was a trailblazing figure in Portuguese and multilateral context. She achieved numerous firsts for Portuguese women, including serving as Minister of Social Affairs, Ambassador to UNESCO, and Prime Minister - the second female Prime Minister in Europe. She was also a Member of the European Parliament.

Isabel Carvalho Soares
An environmental engineer, she is a founder Fruta Feia, a cooperative dedicated to combating food waste due to produce appearance. The cooperative purchases rejected, aesthetically imperfect fruits and vegetables directly from local farmers and sells them to consumers.

Ana Jorge
She is the Purveyor of Santa Casa da Misericórdia de Lisboa and President of the General Council of the Universidade do Algarve. She is also President of the National Commission for Baby-friendly Hospitals - UNICEF and President of the Portuguese Association of Music in Hospitals and Solidarity Institutions.

Teresa Vasconcelos
Having gained education in the United States, Teresa has been an expert in OECD studies and a consultant to various foundations. The University of Illinois awarded her the Distinguished Alumni Award for "outstanding achievements and contribution to education Portugal".

Natália Correia
She was a poet, playwright, journalist, novelist, essayist, translator, political activist and advocate for women's rights. She left behind a vast body of work that encompasses various genres, from poetry to romance, including theater and essays, and is considered one of the figures who most influenced Portuguese culture and society in the second half of the 20th century.

Catarina de Albuquerque
Catarina de Albuquerque joined the United Nations-hosted Sanitation and Water for All partnership in 2014 and since 2018 she holds the position of Chief Executive Officer, leading the SWA Secretariat and providing strategic leadership to achieve the partnership’s vision and high-level objectives, including all operational, executive, and fundraising activities.

Andreia Carreiro
Having obtained a PhD in Sustainable Energy Systems, she has managed several European and national research and development projects, with high incidence on technological innovations of products and services, applied to the paradigms of sustainable development and energy transition.

Rita Penedo
Over the past 17 years, Rita has collaborated closely with government, non-governmental, and intergovernmental organizations to develop monitoring systems, provide frontline professional training, and establish National Referral Mechanisms. Her most recent work includes the development of a mechanism for child victims of Human Trafficking.

Susana Sargento
She is a Professor in the University of Aveiro and a senior researcher in the Instituto de Telecomunicações. Her main research interests are in the areas of self-organized networks, Intelligent Transportation Systems, 5G and beyond networks and services.

Manuela Ramalho Eanes
She initially worked at the Ministry for Health and Assistance. Her passion for social work led her to join the Instituto de Obras Sociais, where she engaged in projects for children, youth, and the elderly. Later, she was appointed to the Ministry for Education's Social Work directorate.

Helena Roseta
She is an architect, having completed her degree at Escola Superior de Belas Artes in 1971. She was elected councilor in Lisbon in 1976 and Mayor of Cascais in 1982. Re-elected councilor in Lisbon, in 2007 and 2009, she directed the first Local Housing Program in the country.

Teresa Moreira
She is the Head of the Competition and Consumer Policies Branch of UNCRAD and a rotating officer in charge of the Division on International Trade and Commodities of UNCTAD. She has previously served as the Consumer Director-General of Portugal and a Member of the Board of the Portuguese Competition Authority.

Julia Seixas is a Professor at NOVA School of Science and Technology, and pro-rector at NOVA University Lisbon. For more than 20 years she has devoted her efforts to the area of Energy & Climate, either by teaching students in several Master's and PhD programs,

Maria Joao Bebianno
She is a retired professor at the University of Algarve (Portugal) with more than forty years of experience in marine contamination and ecotoxicology. At an international level, she integrated the Portuguese delegation to the United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea.

Helena Freitas
She has held various leadership roles, including Director of the Botanical Garden of the University of Coimbra, Vice-Dean of the University, and prominent positions in environmental organizations. She currently coordinates the Center for Functional Ecology. Helena Freitas is actively involved in European Commission initiatives related to climate change adaptation.

Francisca Van Dune
Over the years, she held various positions within the judiciary, including Deputy Public Prosecutor and head of the Department for Criminal Investigation and Prosecution of Lisbon. In 2015, she became Minister for Justice, serving in the XXI and XXII Constitutional Governments.
